We’ve created the ULTIMATE virtual tasting activities to help you connect with your friends, family, clients or colleagues in a fun, informal, online setting – with lashings of gin and rum!

Virtual networking events. Virtual team building. Virtual social events… and even your virtual Christmas Party – you name it, we’ve hosted it! Choose from our gin tasting experience, rum tasting experience OR a gin and rum experience. 

Our online tasting experiences can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home.  Prices vary depending on the type of tasting experience  and the number of guests you have starting from £40 plus VAT per person including delivery (minimum of 8 people).  Larger group discounts are available.   

We’ll post your gin tasting, rum tasting or cocktail kits out to each member of your team and then host the virtual activity online at a time to suit you. The tasting experience with your gin & rum loving host will last for 1 hour.

What’s in the box?

Choose from our selection of gin tasting, rum tasting or gin and rum tasting experiences. You will then receive all the spirits (4 double measures) and mixers required for your experience. You will just need to provide the glassware, ice and any fresh fruit required! We can also include a delicious trio of artisan snacks in the kit for £6.50 plus VAT per person – helping you to soak up those boozy bevvies! We even offer non-alcoholic tasting kit for any non-drinkers in your group.

Would you prefer a non-hosted experience?

All of our gin tasting and rum tasting kits are available to purchase without a hosted experience. So you can enjoy the tasting kit of your choice, as part of your virtual networking event, team building activity or online social! Or they make a great team gift idea….

FAQs

How does it work?

Simply choose a date and time to suit you (subject to our availability) for a private virtual tasting activity with your group.

One of our gin & rum loving tasting team will host your virtual experience via Zoom (or a video platform of your choice) and your session will last for 1 hour.

We require all names, addresses and email addresses for every member of your tasting team no later than 2 weeks before your event.

Each guest will receive their tasting kit in the post in the week running up to the tasting experience.

We will email all guests with instructions on how to join the private video call as well as any details of what is needed for the session (for example, glassware, ice and fruit).

How do I book?

Please complete the contact form below or email bookings@littleginandrumco.com. We will reply with ALL the details you need to know about our virtual tasting experiences including cost per person and how it works. Once we have agreed on an available date and start time, we will send you a template to complete with guest details and also send you an invoice for your booking. Once this has been paid, we will start preparing and sending out your gin and rum tasting kits.

When can I book an online tasting experience for?

You can book a gin or rum tasting session any day of the week, at a time to suit you, subject to our availability. We just require a minimum of 14 working days between receiving your guest details and your tasting session. This will give us time to invoice and receive payment, pack your kits and post them out to all members of your tasting group.

When do I pay for my booking?

All bookings are invoiced ahead of your event. For any bookings over a month away we will issue a deposit invoice that will need to be paid to secure your booking and date. The balance payment will then be invoiced a month before your event and just needs to be paid at least 10 working days ahead of your event.

Do you offer any alternatives for nondrinkers?

Yes we do! We have a non-alcoholic spirit tasting kit for any non-drinkers in your group so they can feel included within the virtual tasting experience.

Can you include nibbles in the tasting kits?

Absolutely! We can include a selection of posh nibbles in each kit for an additional £6.50pp + VAT

Is there a minimum and maximum group size?

We just ask for a minimum of 10 people taking part (this can be 5 couples at 5 different addresses, but each person would have their own gin or rum tasting kit).

We’ve hosted sessions for up to 500 guests at one time but the average group size is around 15. You just have to bear in mind that the larger the group, the less interactive the session might become for all guests.

How do I pay for my booking?

All our invoices contain bank details to enable you to make a bank transfer payment. This is free of charge and your invoice number should be used as the payment reference. If you would prefer to pay by debit or credit card just let us know and we can send a payment link to enable you to do so. For any business to business transactions (for example payment on a company credit card) there will be a 2.5% fee added to your invoice.

LOCATIONS

We can host virtual events for anyone based in Great Britain even if your team are dotted all over the country

Hosting an event virtually means we are not restricted by location or travel times. We will send the tasting kits to each address in your group and join together online for the experience.
